Install · opencode
Prism for opencode.
This agent gets the MCP server, a plugin with Prism’s hooks (session start, before and after an edit, and stop) and a short rule in AGENTS.md.
$npm install -g @prismapp/cli
$prism install opencode

By hand
Or add the MCP server yourself.
Paste this into opencode’s MCP config. It starts the published Prism server with npx. By hand you get the MCP tools, not the plugin and rule.
Without hooks, turn on the receipt tool so the agent can ask for a receipt before it says it is done.
json~/.config/opencode/opencode.json
{
"mcp": {
"prism": {
"type": "local",
"command": [
"npx",
"-y",
"@prismapp/mcp-server@2"
],
"enabled": true
}
}
}
For one repo only, use opencode.json in the repo root.
json~/.prism/config.json
{
"extraTools": [
"receipt"
]
}
Add to the file if it already has settings.
What install writes
| Where | What |
|---|---|
~/.config/opencode/opencode.json | The Prism MCP server |
~/.config/opencode/plugins/prism.js | A plugin that runs Prism’s hooks (with --project: .opencode/plugins/prism.js) |
~/.config/opencode/AGENTS.md | A short rule between Prism’s markers (the repo’s AGENTS.md with --project) |
~/.prism/config.json | Turns on the receipt tool |
Then
- Restart opencode.
- Run
prism doctorto check the setup. - Ask for a change in plain words.
- When the session goes idle, the plugin writes the verdict to the agent log; prism receipts shows it too.
